Hi, I’m Megan Sommer.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker located in Scituate, Massachusetts. I have two decades of clinical experience working with people to improve their lives. My specialties include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, chronic health conditions and developmental disabilities.

I have a passion for advancing diversity, inclusion and equity initiatives, serving as chair on Scituate’s Commission on Disabilities and on the steering committee of STRIDE (Scituate Together For Representation, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity). I received a Bachelors of Science in English and Women’s Studies from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, where I also edited the school newspaper and the Wittenberg Review of Literature and Art. My Masters in Social Work is from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
